In a bold step forward, Balmain, the epitome of Parisian luxury, has unveiled its first foray into the world of beauty with the launch of Les Éternels de Balmain. This groundbreaking collection, comprising eight allgender eaux de parfum, seamlessly blends the house’s storied French heritage with Olivier Rousteing’s avantgarde vision, creating a new chapter in modern luxury.

Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s Creative Director, has masterfully woven the essence of inclusivity, love, and unity into this collection. With Les Éternels de Balmain, he invites the world to redefine beauty, making it an integral part of one’s identity. “Balmain Beauty gives you the freedom to live your truth, free and powerful,” Rousteing asserts, emphasizing that beauty and fashion are inextricably linked, each enhancing the other.

The Les Éternels de Balmain collection is a tribute to the universal quest for self-discovery and expression. Crafted with the finest ingredients, the collection is categorized into four distinct olfactive families: Musk, Amber, Floral, and Woody. Each fragrance within these families tells a unique story of identity and transformation.

Musk: Carbone, with its blend of maximalist musk and minimalist rose, embodies the journey towards self-identity and freedom.

Amber: Sel d’Ambre illuminates the path to inner peace with its glowing amber and salty ambergris notes.

Floral: Vent Vert reinvents the iconic green fragrance, respecting nature in a timeless journey through the ages, while Rouge captures the addictive allure of Los Angeles’ magic hour. Ivoire carries forward Balmain’s New French Style legacy, uniting beauty in all its forms.

Woody: Bronze symbolizes rebirth with its blazing cedarwoods and cooling patchouli, while Ébène reimagines Pierre Balmain’s 1983 fragrance through the lens of Rousteing’s journey of self-discovery. Bleu Infini transports wearers to the boundless skies and seas, evoking a sense of ultimate freedom.

The design of Les Éternels de Balmain draws inspiration from Balmain’s first flacon, created in 1946. The new flacon features a sophisticated interplay of contrasting elements—elongated lozenge shapes, signature black and gold colours, and the iconic PB monogram from the 1970 brand labyrinth motif. This design not only pays homage to the past but also introduces a multisensory experience that is both luxurious and modern.

With Les Éternels de Balmain, the house of Balmain embarks on a new journey, expanding its influence beyond fashion into the realm of luxury beauty. Guillaume Jesel, overseeing Balmain Beauty, remarks on this pioneering step, “Olivier Rousteing is one of the most accomplished designers of his generation, inventing revolutionary concepts at the confluence of past, present, and future.”

Matteo Sgarbossa, CEO of Balmain, echoes this sentiment, highlighting the collection as a testament to Balmain’s commitment to inclusive luxury. “With this partnership, the house begins a new chapter, making very clear our commitment to maximizing cross-category possibilities,” Sgarbossa states.

Les Éternels de Balmain is more than just a collection of fragrances—it’s a celebration of diversity, craftsmanship, and the timeless allure of Parisian luxury. Each scent is a tribute to Balmain’s heritage, reimagined for a modern audience that values authenticity and self-expression.

As Balmain Beauty continues to evolve, Les Éternels de Balmain stands as a beacon of what is to come—a future where luxury, inclusivity, and innovation coexist in perfect harmony.
