Product Review: ERTH For Men by Blossom Kochhar: A Grooming Experience That Feels Considered from Start to Finish

Men’s grooming has become considerably more interesting in recent years, but there is still a difference between putting together a collection of products for men and creating a grooming routine that actually feels good to use. ERTH For Men, the men’s grooming range developed by Dr. Blossom Kochhar, falls into the latter category, at least from the experience of a male member of our family who tried a selection of the brand’s products sent to us for review.
There was, to begin with, a certain level of familiarity and trust because of the name behind the range. Blossom Kochhar has been a recognised name in beauty and aromatherapy for decades, so there was no hesitation about trying the products when the ERTH For Men box arrived. What stood out immediately, however, was that the experience did not depend only on the reputation of the name. The packaging felt premium, the products were presented well, and there was a sense that the range had been thought through as a complete grooming experience rather than as a collection of unrelated products.
The review set included the Pre Shave Oil, Shaving Foam, Professional Fitkari Gel and Skin Brightening Face Pack, giving us a chance to look at the products across different stages of a man's grooming routine. The Pre Shave Oil and shaving foam naturally formed the shaving part of the experience, while the Fitkari Gel followed as part of the post-shave routine, and the face pack offered something beyond shaving altogether. The official ERTH range places these products within its professional grooming collection, with the brand itself built around aromatherapy-led men's grooming.
The first thing our reviewer noticed was how uncomplicated the routine felt. The pre-shave oil did not make the preparation feel like an additional chore, while the shaving foam worked easily into the shaving routine. For someone who generally wants grooming products to be effective without turning the bathroom into a complicated skincare station, that matters. The experience was comfortable, and, importantly, there was no irritation after using the products that were sent across.
That last point became particularly important because shaving can be unforgiving on the skin. A product may look impressive and smell good, but if the skin feels tight, uncomfortable or irritated afterwards, the experience quickly loses its appeal. In this case, the products used during the review did not leave the skin feeling uncomfortable, which made the overall routine feel considerably more pleasant.
The Professional Fitkari Gel was another interesting addition because alum has long been associated with traditional shaving routines, particularly for its use after shaving. ERTH places it within its professional shave range, alongside its other shaving essentials. For our reviewer, it fitted naturally into the sequence rather than feeling like an unnecessary extra, particularly when used as part of a more complete shave routine.
The Skin Brightening Face Pack took the experience beyond shaving and into basic skincare. ERTH describes the formula as being designed to remove oil and impurities while refreshing the skin, with white charcoal, vitamin C and turmeric listed among its key ingredients. The experience here was consistent with what we were looking for from the product: something that could be incorporated into a grooming routine without making it feel overly elaborate.
What makes the set particularly appealing as a gift is the feeling it creates around the act of grooming. Men's grooming is often presented either as a purely functional exercise or through heavily masculine packaging that can make the experience feel somewhat predictable. ERTH takes a more refined approach, where the presentation, product selection and overall experience feel a little more considered. It does not feel excessive, but it does feel like someone has taken the time to make ordinary grooming more enjoyable.
For our reviewer, that was probably the strongest takeaway from the entire experience. None of the products felt like something that had been included simply to make up a larger gift set. Each had a place within a routine, and the combination made the process feel more complete without becoming complicated.
The packaging also contributes to that feeling. The products arrive with the kind of presentation that makes them suitable for putting straight into a bathroom cabinet or giving as a gift, and this is where ERTH has an advantage over many functional men's grooming products that concentrate almost entirely on utility. There is something reassuring about opening a product that looks as considered as it feels to use.
Would we recommend it? Based on this particular experience, yes. Not because every man needs a four-step grooming ritual, and certainly not because a luxury-looking package automatically makes a product better, but because the ERTH For Men products we tested combined good presentation with a comfortable and enjoyable grooming experience. There was no irritation after using the products provided for review, the packaging felt premium and the overall impression was of a range that had been created with some thought about how men actually use grooming products.
It also has that increasingly important quality of a good gift: it feels good to receive. Without giving it a second thought, this is a grooming set we would consider for the men in our lives, whether that means a husband, father, brother, son or friend. It feels personal without being overly specific, useful without being mundane and polished enough to have that small sense of occasion that makes a gift memorable.
For a brand carrying the Blossom Kochhar name, expectations were naturally high. ERTH For Men manages to make a convincing first impression not simply through the name behind it, but through the combination of presentation, usability and the overall experience of using the products. For men who enjoy a well-made grooming routine, and for anyone looking for a gift that feels a little more special than the usual shaving set, it is a range worth considering.
