Awigna Opens Its Flagship Store in Delhi with Zevar Collection

Awigna's First Flagship Store in Chhatarpur – New Delhi, India

Awigna has opened a new flagship store at The Corridors in Chhatarpur, Delhi, with co-founders Varsha and Rittu Agarwal marking the occasion with an opening on 24 September 2026. The new store gives Awigna a dedicated retail space in Delhi, while the opening also introduced the collection to guests through a fashion presentation.

Zevar takes its cue from jewellery, translating elements associated with ornament into embroidery and surface detailing. Pearls, Swarovski elements and crystals feature across the collection, set against a palette of soft, understated hues.

The jewellery reference is worked into the clothes rather than treated as an accessory. Embroidery follows the language of jewellery, with motifs and forms adapted into the garments and used to build detail across the silhouettes.

The contrast between the muted palette and the embellishment is an important part of the collection. Soft shades allow the embroidery, pearls and crystals to remain visible without relying on strong colors. The detailing gives the garments their richness, while the silhouettes keep the overall look contemporary.

The collection also looks at traditional ornamentation through a more current fashion vocabulary. Instead of reproducing jewellery literally, Awigna uses its visual qualities as a starting point for embroidery, allowing the surface of the garments to carry much of the collection’s character.

The new flagship follows the same understated approach. Located at The Corridors on 100 Feet Road, the store has been designed as a dedicated setting for Awigna’s collections, giving the brand a physical presence in Delhi alongside its fashion offering.

Zevar brings together the elements that define the collection: delicate colors, embellished surfaces and jewellery-inspired embroidery. The result is a wardrobe where the detailing provides much of the visual interest, while the silhouettes remain relatively clean.

For the opening, the collection was presented as part of the evening, giving guests an opportunity to see the pieces in motion and examine the embroidery and embellishment more closely. The event also brought the brand’s Delhi community together around its new retail address.

With the opening of the Chhatarpur store, Awigna adds a permanent Delhi location to its retail presence. Zevar, meanwhile, offers a collection built around a familiar idea of Indian dressing, ornament, but approaches it through embroidery, crystals, pearls and contemporary silhouettes rather than conventional jewellery.
