International Fragrance Day on the 21st of March felt like the right moment to talk about what has been on the Style Essentials desk for the past few weeks. The Fonzie Folksy Travel Set, four Eau de Parfum rollerballs in one compact kit, has been in steady rotation with the team, and it has earned its place.

The set comes with four 10ml Eau de Parfum rollerballs named O' Live It, Evenfall, The Gallerie, and Runway Bows, each in a bottle slim and light enough to keep in the smallest bag compartment, a jeans pocket, or even the zip pouch of a backpack without taking up much space. The silver caps are secure, the labels are color-coded and graphic enough to tell apart at a glance, and the packaging is clean and considered without feeling like it is trying too hard. These are bottles you pull out without thinking twice, which is exactly what a travel format should allow.

The set also comes with application instructions that are worth following. The brand recommends applying a light moisturizer on the pulse points before rolling on the fragrance, which helps the scent hold through the day. Pulse points include the wrists, behind the ears, and the inner elbows. The moisturizer creates a base that lets the fragrance develop properly and last through the day rather than fading within a few hours. It is a small step that makes a noticeable difference.

O' Live It opens warm and slightly fruity and deepens as it settles on the skin. It's the boldest and most noticeable of the four, and you reach for it to make an impression.

Evenfall is the most complex of the set. Green and slightly woody with a softer undertone that keeps it from feeling sharp. It performs better in cooler conditions and is the natural evening choice. It was also the fragrance that generated the most conversation among the team, which is generally a sign that something has been put together with care.

The Gallerie is the most versatile of the four. It works across times of day and settings without competing with the environment around it. For office wear or long travel days where you want fragrance without presence, the Gallerie is the one.

Runway Bows is the lightest and freshest. Suited to daytime and warm weather, it is the kind of fragrance you forget you are wearing until someone else notices it.

All four are unisex, and this holds up in practice. The team tested them across gender lines, and every fragrance worked without leaning in either direction. For a travel set you might share with a partner, that matters.

At Rs. 2,499 for all four, the set is priced sensibly for what it delivers.

The Fonzie Folksy Travel Set was received at the Style Essentials PR desk through AB Comm, represented by PR partner Amrita Bafna.
