Victorinox Gives the Huntsman a Red-and-Gold Makeover for the Year of the Goat 2027

Victorinox’s Huntsman Swiss Army Knife takes on a more decorative character for 2027, with red scales embellished with golden goat artwork and traditional cloud motifs. Limited to 8,888 individually numbered pieces worldwide, the special edition marks the upcoming Lunar New Year while retaining the familiar 16-function configuration of the Swiss-made multitool.
The goat illustration is the defining feature of the release, transforming the knife’s exterior into a canvas for zodiac-inspired design. Rather than altering the established tool arrangement, Victorinox has concentrated on the finish and presentation, keeping the practical format intact while giving the edition a distinct identity within its Chinese zodiac series.
The Huntsman measures 91 mm in length and weighs 99 g. Its 16 functions include large and small blades, scissors, a wood saw, a corkscrew, can and bottle openers, screwdrivers and a multipurpose hook, alongside smaller essentials such as tweezers, a toothpick and a SIM card pin. The combination makes it a versatile pocket tool, with the limited-edition artwork adding a collectible dimension.
The 2027 release continues Victorinox’s annual zodiac-themed Huntsman series, following the Year of the Horse edition in 2026. Each knife comes in a specially designed red-and-gold presentation box with a certificate and its individual edition number. The production limit of 8,888 pieces also draws on the number eight’s association with prosperity and good fortune in Chinese culture.
The Huntsman Year of the Goat 2027 keeps the appeal of the original design while giving collectors a reason to look beyond the standard model. Its familiar arrangement of tools, Swiss manufacture and distinctive zodiac artwork bring together everyday utility and the commemorative character of a limited release.
