Häfele has expanded its interior fittings portfolio with the introduction of the Classic and Design Series aluminium door profiles, developed for use in wardrobes and cabinet systems. The new profiles extend the company’s existing range of structural framing solutions, offering additional material finishes and surface treatments suited to residential interiors.

Aluminium profiles have become widely used in wardrobe and cabinet construction due to their dimensional stability and resistance to environmental changes. Unlike solid wood frames, aluminium maintains its form over time and is less affected by humidity, temperature variation, or surface wear. The material also provides a lightweight structural framework capable of supporting repeated daily use.

The Classic Series has been developed primarily for wooden wardrobe and cabinet doors. These profiles use slim aluminium sections designed to frame door panels without adding significant visual weight. The series is available in gold, grey, and black finishes. These finishes are applied to the aluminium surface to produce a consistent metallic appearance across the profile.

The profile dimensions allow integration with standard wooden panels used in wardrobe construction. The aluminium frame provides structural reinforcement while allowing the wood surface to remain the primary visual element.

The Design Series has been developed for glass-based wardrobe and cabinet doors. These profiles incorporate leather-textured surface finishes applied over the aluminium structure. Finish options include brown, tan, and beige. The leather-textured treatment alters the external surface while retaining the underlying structural properties of aluminium.

The profiles in this series are designed to support larger glass door panels. The aluminium structure distributes the weight of the glass evenly along the frame, allowing stable operation during opening and closing.

Both Classic and Design Series profiles can be used with different door panel materials, including wood, glass, and mirror. This allows the profiles to be integrated into various wardrobe configurations depending on project requirements.

The aluminium construction provides resistance to corrosion and surface degradation, reducing the need for ongoing maintenance. The material also allows precise manufacturing tolerances, enabling consistent alignment during installation.

The profiles are intended for use in residential wardrobe systems, storage units, and cabinetry where framed door construction is required.

Through the Classic and Design Series, Häfele continues its development of aluminium-based structural components for interior furniture applications.
