Turri has included the B.E.L.T. seating collection, designed by Matteo Nunziati, in its presentation for Salone del Mobile.Milano 2026. The design takes a structural reference from the woven leather belt, using this element as a consistent detail across the system.

The defining feature of the collection is a woven leather belt that wraps around the sofa’s armrests. The belt contains the volume and is finished with a buckle personalised with Turri’s “T” monogram.

The seating is composed of large rectangular volumes with visible attention to proportion and detailing. Edges, tailored seams, and transitions between materials are clarified rather than masked, and the combination of leather with selected fabrics is organised without overlap in the formal language.

Cushions are padded and arranged on a raised structure that separates the seating volume from the supporting frame. The design maintains a visual distinction between the upholstered form and its base while sustaining a sense of structural clarity.

Nunziati refers to the 19th-century craft of making travel trunks as a point of reference for the collection’s design logic. This reference is evident in the use of the belt as a functional and visual component and in the emphasis on construction over applied decoration.

The B.E.L.T. system consists of modular seating elements that can be organised in different configurations. Proportions and detailing are consistent across modules, allowing for systematic variation while maintaining uniformity in form. An integrated coffee table, covered in leather, is part of the same system rather than an independent piece.

Materials and detailing reflect an emphasis on leather craftsmanship and made-to-measure production processes. The collection’s organisation supports flexibility in layout while maintaining coherence in material and form.
