Tamagotchi Ring by Bandai: A Wearable Digital Pet With a Color LCD Screen

Bandai has turned the Tamagotchi into something you actually wear. The new Tamagotchi ring packs a full-color LCD screen into a ring-shaped device measuring roughly 28 × 23 × 35 millimeters, letting you feed, care for, and play with your digital pet right from your finger.

It comes in three finishes: Pink & Pearl White, Light Blue & Metallic Gold, and Black & Metallic Silver. The pink version gets an aurora pearl finish, while the other two are done in plated metal.

If you grew up with a Tamagotchi clipped to your bag or hanging off a keychain, this is the same idea moved somewhere much closer to the body. It fits right into how wearable tech works today, without losing the simple, low-effort interaction that made the original so addictive in the first place.

The tiny screen still runs the full experience. Depending on how well you look after it, your digital creature can grow into over 30 different Tamagotchi characters, including a few secret ones that only show up if you're doing something right.

It's available in sizes 10 and 14, with a spacer included to help it fit properly. Each color comes with its own charging dock, designed to double as a little display stand while it powers up. There's also a ball chain in the box, so if a ring isn't your thing, you can wear it as a pendant instead.

Bandai is calling it the world's smallest ring-shaped Tamagotchi, and it runs on a rechargeable battery that tops up through the included charger, everything squeezed into a body barely bigger than an actual ring.
