Delhi’s dining scene has no shortage of Italian restaurants, but the city has never truly experienced aperitivo the way it’s lived in Italy—until now. Via Bianca introduces the capital’s first authentic aperitivo menu, a ritual that Italians consider less a meal and more a way of life.

Aperitivo, often described as the golden hour of Italian culture, is that pause between day and night when friends gather for a spritz, small plates, and unhurried conversations. At Via Bianca, this tradition arrives with all the elegance of Florence and Bari but interpreted for Delhi’s cosmopolitan rhythm.

The restaurant owes its soul to Chef Kamalika, who trained in Italy before returning home to India. Her vision was never just to replicate Italian food, but to recreate the spirit behind it—the balance, the generosity, and the ease.

On the table, this philosophy unfolds in beautifully simple dishes. There’s Il Tagliere, a nibbles tray designed to be shared with a glass of wine or artisanal beer. There are golden Olive Ripiene, stuffed with chicken, crisp and briny, and Mondeghili, bite-sized Milanese cutlets rich with herbs. For those who prefer a lighter indulgence, canapé crackers arrive dressed with Salmone Selvatica, Agrodolce, and Tre Pomodorini, each one a reminder of why Italian food remains timeless in its restraint. Paired with signature spritzes, Italian wines, and carefully chosen beers, the menu is as much about atmosphere as it is about taste.

Earthy interiors, thoughtful design, and an ambience that feels intimate yet worldly make it a destination in its own right.
