Rami Kadi Maison de Couture closed the second edition of THE EVENT with a runway that held the room’s attention from the moment the first twin models stepped out at Concrete, Alserkal Avenue. Presented as the night’s grand finale, the showcase brought together 35 couture looks, opening with pieces from the Maison’s “L’Éventail” collection and culminating in an ornate bridal gown worn by Emirati influencer Marwa Alhashmi.
The presentation stayed true to Rami Kadi’s vocabulary: meticulous handwork, sculptural forms, layered beadwork, and experimentation with fabric treatments. Each look underscored the Maison’s commitment to pushing couture beyond convention while maintaining a strong respect for traditional craft.
The evening drew a notable list of attendees, many of whom wore Rami Kadi for the occasion. Among them were actress Amina Khalil, Laila Zaher, content creators Narin, Sherin and Cedra Amara, actress Laila Abdallah, actress Assala Kamel, TV host Nada Baechen, and creator Yusur Al-Khalidi, along with Deema Al Asadi and several other well-known personalities.
As the concluding show of THE EVENT 002, the runway delivered a clear statement of the Maison’s direction: couture that merges heritage techniques with a forward-facing sensibility. With its strong visual impact and an influential guest list, the finale stood as a compelling reflection of Rami Kadi’s evolving vision and the enduring relevance of contemporary couture.
