Falmec has expanded its induction hob range with the introduction of a refined matt black finish, aligning with the growing preference for soft, tactile surfaces in contemporary kitchen design. The new finish offers a satin, velvety texture that feels smooth to the touch while delivering a distinctly understated visual appeal.

Beyond aesthetics, the matt surface is designed to enhance everyday usability. The finish significantly reduces the visibility of fingerprints, smudges, and surface marks, making it easier to maintain a clean and polished appearance during regular use. Compared to standard glass-ceramic surfaces, the matt finish also offers up to five times greater resistance to scratches and visible wear, ensuring long-lasting visual quality.

The absence of reflective glare is another functional advantage. By eliminating reflections, including those caused by natural sunlight, the surface improves visibility and comfort while cooking, especially in well-lit kitchens with large windows or open layouts.

The new matt finish is available across all models in the Falmec induction hob collection, including the 58 cm, 78 cm, and 89 cm versions, with both four and five cooking zones. These models feature white LED touch controls, offering a high-contrast display with light intensity up to five times stronger than standard solutions, ensuring clear visibility even on darker surfaces.

Falmec induction hobs are equipped with nine cooking levels plus a Boost function, along with advanced technologies designed to enhance performance and flexibility. Flex Surface technology allows the hob to adapt to cookware of different shapes and sizes, enabling greater freedom in positioning. The Keep Warm function maintains food at optimal serving temperature, while the Automatic function intelligently adjusts suction power based on real cooking needs, optimising both energy use and efficiency.

Additional features include automatic pan detection, the Chef function, which assigns different power levels across zones for multi-stage cooking, and the Bridge function, which connects two cooking zones into a single large surface, ideal for oversized cookware.

Completing the system is Falmec’s Dialogue System, which enables seamless communication between the induction hob and compatible cooker hoods via radio frequency. Both appliances can be controlled through a single touch interface, allowing users to manage ventilation directly from the hob for a more intuitive cooking experience.

With the new matt black finish, Falmec brings together tactile comfort, visual restraint, and advanced functionality, offering a refined solution for kitchens that prioritise both performance and contemporary design.
