Lodge is an outdoor lounge collection designed by Christophe Pillet for Ethimo. The project is conceived as a coordinated system of furnishings for outdoor relaxation and social use, with an emphasis on comfort, modularity, and material durability.
The collection includes a sofa system with modular configurations, an armchair, a daybed, a pouf, and a coffee table. The coffee table is offered with tops in marble, lava stone, or aluminium with a matte finish. These components are designed to work together as a single system, allowing different layouts depending on space and use.
Seating elements are built around a suspended tubular aluminium structure with a polished finish. The structure supports generously proportioned cushions designed with deep seating to accommodate relaxed postures. The dimensions of the seats are consistent across the collection, reinforcing visual continuity between the sofa, armchair, and daybed.
Upholstery fabrics are inspired by heavy canvas, selected for resistance and suitability for outdoor conditions. The fabrics are finished with visible double stitching, similar to denim construction, which reinforces seams and defines the edges of the cushions. This detailing is consistent across all elements of the collection.
Lodge is available in four colour configurations: Kaki, Paprika, Sesamo, and Caramel. Kaki references dark green and mud tones; Paprika combines red earth and burnt brown shades; Sesamo is composed of warm greys; and Caramel uses soft dove-grey hues. Each palette is intended to integrate with outdoor settings rather than contrast sharply with them.
From the rear, the seating elements feature an aluminium strip structure that supports the cushions while keeping the overall frame visually open. This allows the pieces to be positioned freely in space, including central or open-plan outdoor layouts, without losing coherence from different viewpoints.
The Lodge collection is designed to balance structural clarity with seating comfort, functioning as a modular outdoor system rather than a series of standalone pieces.
