Falmec has introduced updated versions of its Virgola under-cabinet cooker hood, presenting the Virgola Touch Comfort and Virgola No-Drop Comfort models. The new versions focus on acoustic performance and vapour management while retaining the compact integrated format designed for concealed kitchen installation.

The Virgola Comfort models incorporate a soundproof chamber within the hood structure. This chamber is lined with noise-absorbing material positioned around the motor and airflow components. The purpose of this internal layer is to reduce operational noise generated during extraction. By limiting sound transmission through the metal housing, the system maintains lower perceived noise levels during use.

The cooker hood operates in filtering mode using regenerative Carbon.Zeo Microtech filters. These filters capture airborne particles, grease, and odours generated during cooking. The filtration system is designed for extended use, with materials engineered to maintain efficiency over time.

Optional accessories are available to further manage airflow and sound output. These include a duct system equipped with additional filtration and a deflector designed to control air movement as it exits the hood.

The Virgola Touch Comfort model includes an integrated touch control panel located on the front section of the hood. This panel remains accessible without opening the cabinet door in which the unit is installed. The control interface allows adjustment of extraction speed and lighting functions.

The Virgola No-Drop Comfort model incorporates a vapour management system designed to address condensation. The hood includes technopolymer filters arranged in a cross-blade configuration. These filters intercept vapour generated during cooking.

Condensed vapour is directed along an inclined internal channel and collected in a removable tray positioned within the unit. This tray can be removed for cleaning and emptied as required.

Both models include integrated lighting systems positioned beneath the hood structure. The lighting includes adjustable brightness levels and variable colour temperature. This allows the illumination to be adapted to different kitchen environments and lighting conditions.

The cooker hood is manufactured in Scotch Brite stainless steel and black painted finishes. Multiple width options are available, including 60 cm, 75 cm, 90 cm, and 120 cm formats. These variations allow integration into different cabinet sizes and kitchen layouts.

The Virgola Comfort models are designed for under-cabinet installation, allowing the unit to remain visually integrated within kitchen furniture.

Through the Virgola Comfort range, Falmec continues its development of kitchen ventilation systems focused on airflow control, noise reduction, and integration within cabinetry.
