knIndustrie has introduced a series of new trays and expanded existing lines, continuing its exploration of table objects positioned between utility and interior presence. The additions include new designs by Lara Caffi and Sirine Graiaa, along with updates to existing collections developed with designers and artists including Rodolfo Dordoni and Ivan Tresoldi.
The Outline tray, designed by Lara Caffi, is produced in matte-lacquered beech wood. The form follows a rectangular geometry with a continuous raised edge integrated into the same material. The tray is available in white, black, orange, and eucalyptus-stained beech finishes. Two sizes are offered, measuring 40 × 33 cm and 50 × 25 cm. The design maintains a uniform surface without added structural components, relying on material thickness and edge shaping for rigidity.
The Storm tray collection, manufactured in aluminium, introduces new colour finishes including red and champagne. The trays are produced in rectangular formats of 50 × 20 cm and 40 × 20 cm, as well as a square version measuring 20 × 20 cm. The aluminium construction reduces overall weight while maintaining structural stability. The underside of the trays includes graphic interventions developed in collaboration with artist Ivan Tresoldi. These graphic elements are not visible when the tray is in standard use and become visible when the object is turned over.

Sirine Graiaa’s rotating tray remains part of the broader tray system and is produced in stone-washed steel. The tray uses a circular form mounted on a concealed rotating base, allowing the upper surface to turn independently. This movement allows access to different areas of the tray without repositioning the object itself.
The Live/Ly trays, made from aluminium, continue as part of the brand’s tray range. These trays include leather handles attached to the metal surface and integrated wall hooks that allow the trays to be stored vertically. Two circular sizes are available, with diameters of 50 cm and 67 cm. Finishes include stone-washed metal, brown, and anthracite.
The Garçon tray series, designed by Rodolfo Dordoni, is constructed using bent steel. The design includes a raised semi-cylindrical edge formed from the same sheet of metal as the base. The exterior surface has a satin finish, while the interior surface is finished in painted oxide red or ivory. Available formats include square, rectangular, and pentagonal configurations.

The Kn Tile trays are produced in eucalyptus-stained ash wood. These trays are available in three sizes: 40 × 22 cm, 45 × 25 cm, and 50 × 30 cm. The trays can be stacked directly on top of one another, with the edge profile designed to stabilise the stacked arrangement.
Across the tray collection, materials include wood, aluminium, and steel. Surface treatments vary between lacquered, painted, stone-washed, and stained finishes. Structural forms remain simple, with raised edges used to define the boundary of the serving surface.
The trays function both as serving objects and as independent interior accessories when not in use. Their construction allows placement on tables, countertops, or vertical surfaces depending on the model.
The expanded tray collection continues knIndustrie’s development of table objects using industrial production methods combined with designer-led form development.
