House of Mayah Introduces a New Collection Shaped by Ease, Craft, and Wearability

Delhi-based fashion label House of Mayah has released its latest collection, continuing its focus on relaxed silhouettes and a design language that prioritises movement, comfort, and longevity. The collection builds on the brand’s established aesthetic, favouring clothes designed for regular wear rather than seasonal statement dressing.


The label is led by Deepali Mathur, Founder and Creative Designer, whose background spans fashion education at NIFT Delhi and further training at Istituto Marangoni, Milan. Her approach reflects a balance between international design exposure and an intuitive understanding of Indian sensibilities, resulting in clothing that feels familiar without being conventional.


The new collection centres on fluid silhouettes that move easily between day and evening. Soft drapes, subtle layering, and relaxed cuts define the pieces, allowing them to adapt across settings rather than belong to a single occasion. Prints are used sparingly and thoughtfully, functioning as part of the garment’s structure rather than surface decoration.



Fabric choice plays a key role in the collection’s wearability. Breathable materials and lightweight constructions are paired with details that remain understated, supporting garments that feel practical without appearing utilitarian. The emphasis is on clothes that can be worn repeatedly, styled differently, and integrated into an existing wardrobe.


The colour palette draws from muted, earthy tones influenced by natural forms and quiet landscapes. These hues support the collection’s overall restraint, avoiding trend-driven colour stories in favour of shades that age well over time. The silhouettes maintain a contemporary relevance while resisting overt seasonal cues, allowing the garments to remain relevant beyond a single cycle.



Speaking about her design approach, Mathur notes that she views clothing as something meant to support daily life rather than perform for attention. Her focus remains on creating garments that feel uplifting and expressive, without demanding effort from the wearer.


With this collection, House of Mayah continues to refine its position as a label invested in ease and individuality. The clothes do not rely on excess detailing or overt branding. Instead, they reflect a considered approach to femininity, one shaped by comfort, confidence, and quiet intention.
